Most business leaders are currently grappling with the topic of transformation, especially in the mobility sector. For the car wash operator Mr. Wash, transformation is simply part of its core business, and has always been so. The family-owned company now operates 38 car washes in Germany at the highest technical standards, constructed by its own staff. Based on their experience in everyday operations, CEO Richard Enning and his team continuously keep refining the technology in the machinery and the processes. The company’s newest site is located in Mülheim an der Ruhr, in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. “It’s probably the world’s first large-scale car wash to meet all its electricity needs with its own solar power,” observes Enning, who never tires of trying to make the entire process even more sustainable.

In addition to pure service performance, Richard Enning focuses above all on the customer experience in line with the motto “Clean car — happy heart”. To bridge the waiting time for customers, lounges with book exchange shelves and free coffee are available at the Mr. Wash locations, for example. Companies and public authorities also benefit from attractive offers such as the so-called "Flex Wash" tariff: once registered along with its license plate, each fleet vehicle can be washed whenever desired at any Mr. Wash location. A combination of price and performance is what makes Mr. Wash so competitive and ensures its success — for six decades now.
